Parking in the area will also be restricted.
Temporary Road Closure of Richmond Street (Victoria Row) on
Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 12:00AM to 11:59PM
Temporary Road Closure of Queen Street between Grafton Street and Richmond Street on
Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 5PM to 10:30PM.
The re-imagined Jack Frost Winterfest will slide into Downtown Charlottetown from February 14-17, 2020. In
addition to festival family favourites such as the Outdoor Eastlink Snow Kingdom (at Peake’s
Quay/Confederation Landing), Indoor Playland (PEI Convention Centre), Live Family Stage (Confederation
Centre of the Arts), and Warm Up Zone (Founders’ Food Hall & Market), exciting new programming targeting
millennials and families with older children has been added to the schedule.
Join us at Aurora! Festivities will take place on Victoria Row and the east side of Queen Street between Grafton
and Richmond Street between the hours of 6:30 PM – 8:40 PM and will feature DJ, busker show, snow activities,
live ice sculpting, a community carving contest, marshmallow stations, and a pyrotechnic display at 8:30PM.
RESIDENT AND EMPLOYEE ACCESS (LOWER PRINCE St. ONLY)
Local access will be diverted via Stan MacPherson Way (at Water Street) and Parking Lot B at Port
Charlottetown will be open for local, non-event parking.
Neighbour Vehicle Passes have been prepared for all residents and employees of Lower Prince Street who
require access to the closed portion of the street during the above timeframes. Should you wish to obtain a
pass, please visit the Jack Frost Booth at Founders’ Food Hall & Market between February 6 and February 13,
inclusively. Proof of residency will be required (license, utility bill, or copy of lease, etc.). Neighbour vehicle
passes will allow access through the closure with the assistance of a volunteer flagger.
Residents and Employees at 4 Prince Street can obtain their Neighbour Vehicle Pass without visiting the Jack
Frost booth:
– Condo Residents: Obtain through Pete Doucette, Property Manager
– Pure Spa/Modo Yoga Employees: Obtain through Karen Murphy
For all other inquiries, the Jack Frost Booth at Founders’ Food Hall & Market will operate:
Sunday to Thursday: 9AM – 4:30PM
Friday – Saturday: 9AM – 8PM
If you require a Neighbour Vehicle Pass but are unable to pick one up at the above noted dates/times, please
contact us to make alternate arrangements.
