Jack Frost Winterfest 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jack Frost Winterfest 2026 Unveils “Winter Forever: A KPop Tribute!” and Streamlined Festival Experience

(Charlottetown, PEI – November 13, 2026) Atlantic Canada’s largest winter celebration returns February 13 – 16, 2026, promising unforgettable family fun, exciting entertainment, and three unique festival venues. This year, Jack Frost Winterfest presented by Island Coastal, introduces a brand-new live stage show inspired by the global phenomenon of KPop.

Following last year’s beloved Once Upon a Winter, Jack Frost once again teams up with Craig Fair Productions for an original and exclusive children’s show that will take center stage inside Frosty Funland at the Delta Prince Edward.

Winter Forever: A KPop Tribute!

In this year’s feature production, winter has disappeared! The beautiful snow is gone, and our homes and towns, once nestled in a picture-perfect world like a snow globe, are no more. We need to find out who took winter away, and we have to get the winter magic back!

Join us on a KPop adventure as we hunt through the Island to track down the evil-doer who expelled the magic of winter out of PEI! With your help, we will dance and sing our way back to winter! Get ready to take part in this mystical journey, because we need all the help we can get.

A world without snow? Never. WINTER FOREVER!

2026 Venues

In 2026, Jack Frost Winterfest will feature three key venues, creating a more connected and convenient festival experience while continuing to offer both free and ticketed programming:

Snowtopia at Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park: The snow-covered outdoor activity zone returns to the Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park Nordic Site, just 15 minutes from Charlottetown. Families can enjoy tube runs, ice slides, horse and sleigh rides, buskers, face painting, live music, Indigenous programming, and ice sculptures daily from 10:30 am – 5:00 pm (Feb 14–16). A ticket is required for admission.

Frosty Funland at the Delta Prince Edward: The indoor kids zone for family fun features inflatables, games, Jack Frost meet-and-greets, and the new Winter Forever: A KPop Tribute! The venue will also offer more character appearances than ever before, making it a favourite stop for young fans. Open 10:30 am – 6:00 pm daily for general admission (Feb 14–16). A ticket is required for admission.

Warm and Glow Zone at Founders’ Food Hall & Market presented by Port Charlottetown: Now home to all of Jack Frost’s free programming. Concentrating Jack Frost’s free programming at Founders’ Food Hall & Market creates a festive, family-friendly warm-up hub with an outdoor skating rink, cozy fireplaces, food vendors, and local shopping, all in one accessible downtown location. New for 2026, the festival welcomes Dairy Farmers of PEI as the presenting sponsor of the magical outdoor skating rink. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the winter magic.

Weekend highlights at the Warm and Glow Zone include a Friday night DJ Skate Party under the lights. On Saturday night, families can enjoy ice sculpting, buskers, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, and a spectacular fireworks show! Islander Day Monday features the always-popular character skate on the outdoor rink and throughout the whole weekend, visitors can take in live music!
